Mumbai superstar Amitabh Bachchan revealed that his blog has been up for 17 years and gave his followers, whom he affectionately calls his “Extended Family,” credit for sustaining it.

Amitabh has been writing his blog consistently for almost 6271 days since he initially joined Tumblr in April 2008 to share information about his life and career with his admirers.

Additionally, he wrote: “There is a lot to learn from professionals and well-wishers about employment, health, attitude, conduct, and many other areas. Bless those who write, speak, and express themselves; they do it with the greatest care and determination for the good of others. My respect and approval (sic).

He went on to say: “Unknown before, but known today.. in whatever form.. voices that maybe lay dormant previously, are now being heard via the express of the written form. That is the gift of contemporary technology.

Therefore, the blog celebrates its anniversary, marking the 17th… 17 years of its existence, with great joy.

The actor ponders how 17 years went by so quickly.

“When time passes, one wonders how in the world 17 years went, but they did, and they did so because the Ef gave it life, companionship, and a family that served as an example for many. (sic).

He said that the blog was just a page without his “extended family.”

“Now that it has a soul, it is all of you.”

He also posted a self-portrait created by AI.

“We advance with technology, modernity, and artificial intelligence.” Because of you, the blog continues to exist. It breathes, embraces, and accepts all that comes with love, respect, and affection.

“It has been the largest metaphor for all.. in all its meaning and presence.. ever in the goodness of it all.. appreciated and admired and loved,” he said. “Some came.. stayed and then left.. some just left.. some just stayed.”
