A wave of is due to hit the UK before the start of May. Latest from Netweather show temperatures of up to 25C will be seen across large swathes of the UK. Many Brits will welcome the which is a sure sign that summer is on the horizon.
The map from Netweather shows that on Wednesday 30 April, in London will reach 25C. But don't worry if you're in another part of the country as many other places will also see .
It comes as the has predicted that temperatures as high as 27C could roast the British Isles next week.
In most parts of the south of England and the midlands, will vary between 21C and 23C, the maps suggest. In Devon and Cornwall, Wales, and Cumbria, there will be slightly lower temperatures of between 14C to 18C.
Another map from WXCHARTS shows that will actually start to warm up the day before on Tuesday 29 April.
The map shows that by 3pm, large parts of the UK will see begin to rise from 17C to 20C before they peak the following day.
On Tuesday, the only area to see cooler of 15C will be Loch Lomond in Scotland.
A forecast for the Met Office says: "Widely fine and dry across the majority of the UK for the first couple of days of this period.
"Clear or sunny spells are likely across most regions, although the north and northwest of Scotland and Northern Ireland could be cloudier with a little light rain or drizzle at times."
It adds that into early May, it will probably begin to turn more changeable, with dry, settled periods interspersed with some spells of unsettled . There will be some showers or longer spells of rain at times, which could be heavy and thundery in places.
The forecast continues: " are likely to be widely above average to begin with, but will probably fall nearer normal as we move into early May."
