Regular weekly off days coincide with six of the twelve holidays:
Sundays are May 4, 11, 18, and 25.
Second Saturday: May 10

Bank Holidays by State
Due to important occasions and regional celebrations, banks in many states will observe vacations in addition to weekends. According to the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) holiday calendar, the following dates are significant.
On Thursday, May 1, which is also Maharashtra Day and Labour Day, banks are closed in Belapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Guwahati, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Imphal, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, and Thiruvananthapuram.
On Friday, May 9, Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti, banks in Kolkata are closed.
On Monday, May 12, Buddha Purnima, all bank branches are closed, including those in Agartala, Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Dehradun, Itanagar, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, and Srinagar.
Banks in Gangtok are closed on Friday, May 16, Sikkim’s State Day.
Banks in Agartala are closed on Monday, May 26, in observance of Kazi Nazrul Islam Jayanti.
Banks in Shimla are closed on Thursday, May 29, Maharana Pratap Jayanti.
Online Banking Will Remain Active
Even though physical bank offices will be closed on certain days, digital banking services like UPI, Net Banking, Mobile Banking, and IMPS will be fully active 24/7. Customers may complete their online purchases with ease.
