The Kedarnath trek is placed in moderate to difficult category. It usually takes 6 to 8 hours to complete this trek. Horse or mule service is available for those who are unable to travel on foot, which costs between ₹ 2500 to ₹ 4000. Apart from this, palanquin service is also available especially for the elderly and unable to devotees.
