Nuh: Just like a lot of people, Police Home Guard Jawan Ghanshyam Prajapati, a resident of village Tusaini in Nuh, Haryana, had made a team on the Dream 11 app investing Rs 39, little did he knew that he would end up winning Rs 4 crore on the app and his fortunes would be changed overnight. On Saturday night, Ghanshyam, along with his brother, made a team of just Rs 39 for the IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings.


The prize pool was Rs 17 crore. Ghanshyam did not wait for the match to end and went to sleep like he used to do every night. When he woke up in the morning, he was presently surprised to find out that his team had won 1370 points and the winning amount of which is Rs 4 crore.


33-year-old Ghanshyam is on duty in Punhana city of Nuh. He has been working as a home guard in Haryana Police since 2015. While his father works as a laborer. Ghanshyam told that since 2023, he has been playing by making a team on this app. He had not won any money before this.


How Much Money Will Ghanshyam Get?


TDS of 30% tax will be deducted from his winning amount. Due to which Ghanshyam will get an amount of about 2 crore 80 lakh rupees.


Prajapati was honored by village Tusaini's Sarpanch Amjad and the villagers by tying a turban and garlanding him.


Will Continue With Job


Ghanshyam will not leave his job even after winning such a huge amount and will be seen in khaki uniform in future as well.


In a similar incident, In Uttar Pradesh’s Kaushambi district, a young man, Mangal Prasad, who participated with just Rs 39 to create his team, won the same amount on April 29 during the Punjab Kings vs Chennai Super Kings match. Mangal worked as a factory worker and his father, Sukhlal Saroj, is a farmer.
