CA May 2025 Exam: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced a new schedule for the CA Intermediate and Final examinations, which were initially planned for May 9 to May 14, 2025. The exams were postponed due to ongoing security concerns in the country. Candidates can check the official notification at icai.org.


New Dates and Timings


According to the official notification, the rescheduled exams will be held between May 16 and May 24, 2025. The exams will be held at the same centers and during the same time slots:


- 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (IST) for some papers


- 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (IST) for others


Earlier issued admit cards are still valid for the new schedule.


The ICAI reaffirmed that the CA Foundation May 2025 exams will go ahead as planned on May 15, 17, 19, and 21, 2025, without any modifications.


No Adjustment for Public Holidays


The institute made it clear that the exam schedule will not be affected even if any exam day is announced as a public or local holiday by the Central or State Government.

Old Date: 9th May 2025 (Friday)


New Date: 20th May 2025 (Tuesday)


Paper 5 – Auditing & Ethics


Old Date: 11th May 2025 (Sunday)


New Date: 22nd May 2025 (Thursday)


Paper 6 – Financial Management & Strategic Management


Old Date: 14th May 2025 (Wednesday)
