Saturday Kitchen's Matt Tebbutt was unable to present the popular weekend show this Saturday (17th May).
Instead, Irish food writer and TV presenter Donal Skehan was more than happy to take over hosting duties.
Matt's absence was confirmed shortly before the broadcast by the Women In the Food Industry X (formerly Twitter) profile.
This week's episode also featured sommelier Olly Smith, The Roasting Tin author Rukmini Iyer and Gavin and Stacey star Ruth Jones.
Thankfully, fans don't need to worry about Matt's health as he appears to be busy this week launching an exciting food project.
Matt had previously taken to Instagram the day before to confirm he was in Marlow to launch Pub in the Park while reuniting with some friends.
He shared a sweet snap and wrote: "Launching @pubinthepark for 2025 at #marlow Great to catch up with @candicebrown and @cocktail.carmen @thegreenmaneversholt @margoswoburn @58andco."
It appears Matt's commitments away from Saturday Kitchen meant he was unable to film the early live broadcast this morning.
Thankfully, Donal still had a cracking show in store as iconic Welsh actress Ruth was in the studio to chat about her new book, By Your Side.
As usual, viewers had to vote for her food heaven or food hell, and Ruth was eager to tuck into her ideal dish, honey-roasted chicken.
However, there was a good chance she'd have to dig into some of her least favourite food, Mexican beef tacos complete with a chilli-spiked watermelon salad.
Despite the unexpected change to the show's line-up, fans were still excited to tune into droves to see what Donal and his team would be cooking up.

Someone else exclaimed: "#donalskehan #saturdaykitchen This episode is going to be amazing!"
And a final fan said: "@SaturdayKitchen So so pleased to see the amazing @DonalSkehan."
Saturday Kitchen airs Saturdays at 10am on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
