The government Union Bank of India has started a special term deposit scheme, its name is Union Wellness Deposit. This scheme has been created keeping in mind financial and health needs.

Union Wellness Deposit is for 375 days.

The period of this special scheme of the bank is 375 days. In this, general customers will get 6.75 percent annual interest, and senior citizens will get an extra 0.50 percent interest. Customers can invest a minimum of Rs 10 lakh and a maximum of Rs 3 crore in it. Premature closure and a loan against the FD facility are also available in the scheme. A special feature of this scheme is the 375-day super top-up health insurance cover, which includes a cashless hospitalization facility. Apart from this, lifestyle benefits are also given to investors through the RuPay Select Debit Card.

Who can take the scheme?

Any person between the ages of 18 to 75 years can open an account and invest in the Union Wellness Deposit Scheme. This scheme is open for both personal and joint accounts. However, in a joint setup, insurance coverage is limited to primary account holders.
