Mumbai: In celebration of Mother’s Day, KidZania Mumbai held the fifth edition of its flagship event, Mommy Zummit 2025, on Sunday, May 11. Organized in collaboration with Mompreneur Circle, this year’s theme—“Mommy’s Got Bandwidth – Navigating Motherhood in the Digital Era”—sparked meaningful conversations around the challenges and opportunities mothers face while raising children in an increasingly connected world.

About The Event

The invite-only gathering brought together over 100 mothers, including bloggers, influencers, and working professionals, for an engaging session that blended dialogue, learning, and community building.

A major highlight of the event was a thought-provoking panel discussion featuring an esteemed group of speakers: Prerna Sinha (TEDx Speaker and Parenting Content Creator), Riddhi Doshi Patel (Child Psychologist and Parenting Counsellor), Meeta Suraiya (Sculptor and Artist), Vrushali Parab (Marketing Head, The Belgium Waffle Co.), and Anita Khemnani (Content Head, KidZania India). Each panelist shared personal and professional insights on parenting in the digital age—touching on topics like screen-time management, emotional well-being, creativity, and digital literacy.

Prerna Sinha spoke about determining the right age for children to enter the digital space, stressing the importance of balancing access with maturity. Riddhi Doshi Patel emphasized the importance of maintaining healthy boundaries while staying emotionally connected to children. Meeta Suraiya encouraged fostering real-world social interactions over virtual ones, while Vrushali Parab highlighted the power of early reading habits and storytelling in screen-free parenting. Anita Khemnani discussed the role of parental controls in creating a safe and responsible digital environment for children.

While the mothers engaged in these enriching conversations, their children explored KidZania’s signature role-play activities—making the day enjoyable and meaningful for the entire family.

Speaking about the event, Mr. Tarandeep Singh Sekhon, Chief Business Officer – KidZania India, said, “KidZania Mommy Zummit is our heartfelt tribute to mothers and their ever-evolving role in shaping future generations. This year’s theme acknowledged the new realities of digital parenting and celebrated the strength, adaptability, and emotional intelligence mothers bring to the table. We at KidZania are proud to offer a platform where mothers can engage, share, and grow—while creating special memories with their children.”

With its 2025 edition, Mommy Zummit continues to affirm KidZania’s commitment to empowering parents and strengthening family bonds through thoughtful dialogue and immersive experiences.
