According to Znewsat a press event for Miss & Mister Supranational Thailand 2025, Itsaragrisil confirmed he is aware of Tien’s May 19 arrest, following accusations that she falsely advertised Kera Supergreens Gummies as a fiber-rich health supplement on social media.

However, he emphasized that MGI has not yet made any decision regarding the revocation of her title. He noted that while the situation is concerning, it remains a personal matter for Tien, separate from the MGI organization, as the contract between MGI and Tien had ended long ago, he clarified.

“She hasn’t been associated with us for a long time—this year marks the fifth year,” Itsaragrisil said. “Everyone has their own path and must take responsibility for their actions.”

He added that he would assess future developments before making any final decision.

Tien’s arrest is part of an investigation into accusations that she deceived consumers by promoting Kera Supergreens Gummies, a fiber supplement that she both owned and endorsed.

In Dec. 2024, Tien collaborated with influencers Pham Quang Linh and Nguyen Thi Thai Hang to market the product, claiming it was a healthy snack and a gummy equivalent to a plate of vegetables. However, a customer had the product tested, revealing that the fiber content was much lower than advertised, leading to public backlash.

Further tests conducted by the Ho Chi Minh City Food Safety Management Authority confirmed discrepancies in the product’s fiber content. While the sugar, protein, fat, and energy levels were accurate, the gummies contained barely any fiber. Instead, the product contained 35% sorbitol, a sweetener known for its laxative effects, which misled consumers about the product’s digestive benefits.

Tien, Linh, and Hang were summoned for questioning, and all three admitted to misleading consumers. Linh and Hang were fined VND140 million (US$5,391) for false advertising, while Tien was fined VND25 million for failing to disclose that her promotional posts were sponsored, a violation of advertising transparency regulations. Investigators later discovered that Tien owns a 30% share in the Kera Supergreens Gummies business.
