Baby Elephant Carcass Discovered in Sambalpur

Sambalpur: Officials reported that a baby elephant's carcass was found in the Sambalpur forest division of Odisha on Saturday.


Harishankar Nayak, the Sadar forest officer, stated, "Upon receiving alerts from local residents about the carcass located in Surushbadi forest near Mundher village, we promptly proceeded to the site."


He further mentioned, "The exact cause of death will be determined following the autopsy results."
