GSEB Supplementary Exam 2025: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has announced the dates of supplementary examinations for classes 10th and 12th. This is a golden opportunity for the students who could not succeed in one or more subjects in the main examination or who are not satisfied with their results.
Which students will get a chance?
Students who have scored lower marks or failed in one or more subjects in the main examination can participate in this exam. Not only this, students who are dissatisfied with their marks can also improve by re-taking the examination in all the subjects. This is the first time that GSEB is giving the opportunity of supplementary examination to the students who failed in all the subjects.
Exam Schedule
The supplementary examinations will start from 23 June 2025 and will run till 3 July 2025. The board has made the detailed timetable available to all the students on its official website www.gseb.org. This time around 1.90 lakh students have registered for the supplementary exam.
Exam timing
According to the schedule released by the Gujarat Board, the supplementary exam of class 10 will be conducted from 10:00 am to 1:15 pm. At the same time, the science stream exam of class 12 will be from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm. The exam for the commerce stream will be conducted in two sessions - the first session will run from 10:30 am to 1:15 pm and the second session will run from 3:00 pm to 6:15 pm. The board has advised the students to reach their examination center at least 30 minutes before the start of the exam to ensure timely attendance and avoid any hassle.

Exams sooner than before, results sooner
This time the board conducted the main examinations in February and the supplementary examination is also being started earlier than before i.e. from June 23. This will enable students to get results quickly and they will be able to plan their further studies or careers without any delay.
