AFCAT-2 2025: The Indian Air Force has released the short notification of the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT)-2. The online application process for this will start on 2 June 2025. Application has to be done by visiting the official website afcat.cdac.in. The last date to apply for this recruitment will be 1 July.



Through this Air Force exam, 284 vacancies will be filled in the Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non Technical) branches. The detailed notification of AFCAT-2 2025 will be released soon.

AFCAT-2 2025: Eligibility for Air Force AFCAT



In the recruitment done through AFCAT in the Indian Air Force, there are different eligibility criteria for the Flying Branch and Ground Duty Branch (Technical and Non-Technical). Which is as follows-



Flying Branch- To join the Flying Branch of the Air Force, one must have passed 12th (PCM) with 50% marks. Also, one must have passed BE/BTech with at least 60% marks.



Ground Duty (Technical Branch)- To join this branch of the Air Force, one must have passed 12th with Physics and Mathematics. Also, it is necessary to have done graduation in engineering or technology with at least 60% marks.



Ground Duty (Non-Technical Branch)- Candidates must have passed BA/BCom/MBA with at least 60% marks.



Meteorology Branch- Physics and Mathematics are mandatory for this in 12th. Also M.Sc. degree in Meteorology/Physics/Meteorology/Atmospheric Science/Geography/Geophysics/Marine Science/Environmental Science/Applied Physics with minimum 50% marks.



Age Limit

The age for flying branches should be between 20 to 24 years. While the age limit for the ground duty branch is 20 to 26 years.



Application Fee

The application fee for the Indian Air Force AFCAT-2 2025 is 550 + GST. No application fee will have to be paid for NCC entry.
