Paresh Rawal’s sudden exit from Hera Pheri 3 led to Akshay Kumar who is also the producer of the film filing a lawsuit against the actor. It also left Suniel Shetty shocked while Priyadarshan was enraged.

Now, in an interview, Johny Lever has shared his opinion on the controversy and has stated that he wants the veteran actor to make a comeback to the third instalment after resolving his issue.

Johny Lever also stated that Hera Pheri 3 won’t be fun without Paresh Rawal’s involvement.

Talking about the same, Johny Lever told Zoom TV, “Mujhe lagta hai ki kar lena chahiye unko film, baithke baat karein, matter solve karein kyunki fans bohut miss karenge Paresh ji ko film mein, maza nahi aayega na waisa unke bina. To baat karke solve karlena chahiye, meri nazar mein to yahi sahi hai. (I feel that they should do the film, sit and talk, solve the matter, because fans will miss Paresh ji a lot, it will not be fun without him. So they should talk and solve the matter.)”

In the same interview, Johny Lever also confirmed that he is a part of Hera Pheri 3 after his much-loved role in Phir Hera Pheri, “Mujhe bhi Hera Pheri ki dhamki aa chuki hai, ki aap booked ho (laughs).”

Hera Pheri 3 was supposed to mark Priyadarshan’s comeback to the franchise after 26 years. The film’s announcement promo was recently shot on the sets of Bhooth Bangla and it was all set to go on floors in 2026.

Now with Paresh Rawal’s exit and the controversy that ensued, Hera Pheri 3 is unlikely to happen.
