Real Madrid have announced the signing of and will receive an eight-figure transfer fee. Alexander-Arnold, 26, was under contract with boyhood club Liverpool until June 30 but Real will pay them a total of £10million - an £8.4m fee plus his remaining wages - in order to sign him a month early.


The agreement allows the international, who's signed a five-year deal , to feature at this summer's which Real will compete in unlike Liverpool. that he'd be leaving Liverpool after 20 years at the club.

Liverpool added: "Liverpool FC can confirm an offer has been accepted for Trent Alexander-Arnold from for his transfer upon the opening of the June transfer window."

Alexander-Arnold could make his debut when Real face Saudi Arabian side in Miami on Tuesday, June 18.
