is gearing up for a tour in just a few weeks, but the catalyst behind their much-anticipated reunion has come to light. The Gallagher brothers, and Noel, had been locked in a bitter feud since Noel dramatically left the band in 2009, although tensions had been brewing long before. Liam, now 52, reportedly cast doubt on the paternity of Noel's eldest daughter, Anais, who is 25, back in May 2000. Noel, aged 58, fathered Anais with his ex-wife, Meg Matthews.

Throughout the years, the iconic Mancunian rockers have been embroiled in numerous spats, often exchanging barbs via social media and interviews. Fans and their mother Peggy alike held out hope that the feuding siblings would eventually reunite on stage, and in 2023, both brothers expressed openness to a reconciliation.

Then, nearly 15 years after Oasis split, it was announced they would be performing together once more. "The guns have fallen silent," declared the brothers, reports

Now, it's been suggested that Anais, who has maintained a close relationship with Liam, played a pivotal role in orchestrating the reunion. Insiders allege that the model was instrumental in supporting Noel through his separation from Sara MacDonald. "Anais could tell her dad really wanted both his brothers, Liam and Paul, by his side after the split, so she was determined to get them back in touch," revealed an insider.

They highlighted that Anais' strong bond with Liam's sons, Gene and Lennon, played a pivotal role after she inquired if their father would consider listening to her.

A source told The Sun: "It was all very slow-going behind the scenes to get the brothers talking again. Anais spending so much time with her dad allowed her to realise how much he missed his brother, despite the jibes they both made.

"It enabled her to plant the idea of a reconciliation on both sides. Thanks to her close relationship with Liam, she was able to call him."

They mentioned that she made sure both brothers didn't look back in anger. "Once Liam called Noel, the rest was up to them," they continued.

Nevertheless, a spokesperson for the band has reportedly refuted these claims. Express Online has reached out to representatives of Oasis for comment.

Despite previous disagreements between Anais, Gene, and Lennon, the cousins presented a united front in December 2023 at a Chanel fashion event in Manchester. The cousins were seen smiling together, joined by Ruben Dias.

The forthcoming tour, set to commence on July 4 at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, is expected to give the economy a significant lift.

Fans are anticipated to spend an average of £682.80 each on various expenses including tickets, travel, food, drink, shopping, and accommodation, contributing to an estimated total expenditure of £940.3 million throughout the tour. This sum is nearly on par with the £997 million splurged by fans during Taylor Swift's 2024 UK Eras Tour.

However, the net economic impact of Oasis's tour - estimated at £274.4 million across the four host cities - is anticipated to significantly surpass the £122 million reported for Swift's 15 UK shows, due to a higher proportion of spending remaining within local economies.
