• Mumbai: ₹1,674.50 (↓ ₹24.50 from ₹1,699.00)

• Chennai: ₹1,881.00 (↓ ₹25 from ₹1,906.00)

This price adjustment follows a similar trend from April and May when marginal reductions were implemented in response to global crude price fluctuations and changes in demand-supply dynamics.

Domestic LPG Rates Remain Unchanged

While commercial cylinders saw a reduction, 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinders have not been revised this month. The last price hike occurred on April 8, when domestic prices were increased by ₹50. Here are the current domestic LPG rates in major cities:

• Kolkata: ₹879.00

• Mumbai: ₹852.50

• Chennai: ₹868.50

And in other cities:

• Patna: ₹942.50

• Lucknow: ₹890.50

What Determines LPG Prices?

The price of commercial LPG cylinders is revised monthly based on international benchmark rates for propane and butane, along with freight, exchange rates, and local taxes.
