JNVST Class 6 Admission 2026: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has begun accepting registrations for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) for Class 6 admissions in the academic year 2026-27. Students who qualify can apply online till July 29, 2025, at navodaya.gov.in or cbseitms.rcil.gov.in.


JNVST Class 6 Admission 2026: Timetable


The application procedure for JNVST class 6th admissions is now beginning. Here are the key dates for the forthcoming academic year:


1. Application Deadline: July 29, 2025


2. Phase 1 Exam: December 13, 2025, at 11:30 AM


3. Phase 2 Exam: April 11, 2026, at 11:30 AM


4. Result Declaration: Summer-bound: By end of March 2026 and Winter-bound: By May 2026


JNVST Class 6 Admission 2026: Eligibility criteria


To be qualified for JNVST Class 6, candidates must:


1. Be born between May 1, 2014 and July 31, 2016 (inclusive).


2. Be in Class 5 during the academic year 2025-26 at a recognized school.


3. Register from the district where the JNV is situated.


4. Have never before appeared for the JNVST.

Here's how parents may submit applications online for JNVST 6th-grade admissions:


Step 1: Visit the official website of JNVST at navodaya.gov.in or cbseitms.rcil.gov.in.


Step 2: After this, click on the JNVST Class VI registration 2026 link.


Step 3: Now, fill out the required details and upload the necessary documents, including Photograph, Signature, Aadhaar card details, Residence certificate


Step 4: Next, submit the form and download a copy for future reference.
