WhatsApp is working on a new feature for its Android and iOS apps, which will allow users to easily copy a selected part of any message in the chat window. Till now, if a small part of a message was to be copied, then the entire message had to be copied and then unnecessary text had to be removed from it, but now this hassle is going to end.

What is the new feature?

Feature tracker WABetaInfo has given information about the new feature of WhatsApp. According to the report, this feature has currently been seen in version 25.16.81 of WhatsApp Beta for iOS and version 2.25.18.3 of Android. With the help of this feature, users will be able to copy only the part of a message that they want, such as a single sentence or word.

How will it work?

Users will be able to highlight any part by dragging their finger on the text.

After highlighting, a pop-up window will open in which options like "Copy" and "Share" will be visible.

This feature will work directly in the chat interface, making it easier to extract important parts from large conversations or long messages.

At present, this feature is available only for some selected TestFlight beta testers on iOS.

It is not yet available for Android users even in beta testing.

Overall, this new feature of WhatsApp will prove to be very beneficial for those users who have to copy a particular line or sentence from the chat again and again. Now there will be no need to copy the entire thing and then cut and trim it. This small but very useful change can make WhatsApp's user experience even better.
