Elon Musk’s ongoing feud with US President Donald Trump has taken a personal turn, with Musk’s estranged daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, joining the conversation. The 21-year-old transgender activist appeared to mock the tech billionaire on social media, saying she was enjoying being “proven right.”
Vivian, who legally cut ties with Musk in 2022 and changed her name, shared a cryptic post on Threads that featured the song Job Application by Chase Icon. The caption read, “Such beauty in life”, a statement that many interpreted as a dig at her father’s public fallout with Trump.
In another video circulating online, Wilson can be heard saying, “I do not want to comment,” before bursting into laughter, further fueling speculation about her views on the matter.
The spat between Musk and Trump escalated after the Tesla CEO slammed a Congressional spending bill endorsed by the president, calling it a “pork-filled Congressional spending bill” and “a disgusting abomination.”
Trump, in response, told reporters that he had long expected Musk to criticize him. Musk then fired back with a bombshell allegation, claiming on X that Trump’s name appears in the FBI’s unreleased Jeffrey Epstein files.
“Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!” Musk posted, adding, “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”
Vivian Wilson has been vocal in her disapproval of Musk’s views and politics, especially around gender identity and what Musk often calls the “woke mind virus.” In past interviews, Musk has spoken about his grief over losing his child to gender transition.
“I lost my son, essentially. They call it ‘deadnaming’ for a reason. The reason they call it ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead,” Musk said, expressing his inability to accept Vivian’s transition.
However, Wilson had legally separated herself from Musk back in 2022, stating in court documents: “I no longer live with or wish to be to my biological father in any way, shape, or form.”
As Elon Musk’s high-profile feud with President Trump unfolds, his daughter Vivian appears to be watching from the sidelines—with little sympathy. Her online remarks suggest that the billionaire’s political battles are not only public but also deeply personal, especially within his own family.
