Preparing to bring satellite based internet service to India Starlink Has finally received the final approval of the government. Under this ambitious project of Alan Musk, high-speed internet facility will also be provided in remote areas of the country. But the biggest question is whether this service will be cheaper for Indian customers?
According to reports, Starlink’s tariff plan is going to be the same in India as is running in Bangladesh and Bhutan. This means that Indian customers will have to pay around ₹ 33,000 device to get a connection of Starlink. After this, unlimited data plan can start at ₹ 3,000 per month.

Although Indian users were hoping that this service here would be economical like local telecom companies, but satellite internet would not be cheaper at the moment. Nevertheless, it can become a major solution to Internet connectivity in areas where even today there is no access to broadband or mobile network.
In countries like Bangladesh and Bhutan, the Starlink device is priced at ₹ 33,000 and the monthly plan is ₹ 3,000. On this pattern, service is going to start in India too.
