IGNOU Admission 2025: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started the online registration process for admission to online and distance learning (ODL) programs for the July 2025 session. Applications for admission to distance learning programs can be made at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and for online programs at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.



The last date to apply for admission in the July session is July 15. As per the latest notification of IGNOU, all applicants must create a DEB ID (Distance Education Bureau ID). This ID ensures that students are properly registered in higher education institutions as per the guidelines of UGC.



How to create a DEB ID for IGNOU Admission 2025?



First, create an Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID.



Then go to the DEB ID registration page.



Fill in the required information like your email and mobile number.



Generate your DEB ID by submitting the details.



In case of any problem, students can contact their nearest IGNOU Regional Centre or Study Centre, or seek help from the Admission Helpline.

Application fees for distance and online courses at IGNOU



New registration or re-registration (all ODL and online programs): ₹300 per application

Tuition fees for online courses (annual or quarter/semester)

BCA: ₹16,000 per year (₹8,000 per semester)

BSc, BA, BCom (estimated): ₹2,083 per semester (₹8,332 annual estimate)

Fees for distance (ODL) programs

BA, BCom, BSc: Estimated ₹1,800–₹60,000 for the entire degree (₹3,800–₹12,600 per year)
