The 22-year-old Spaniard emerged victorious over Jannik Sinner, 23, in a breathtakingly long final at Roland Garros, denying the world number one his third straight Grand Slam title and securing his own fifth major win.

In a historic French Open finale that lasted a marathon five hours and 29 minutes, Alcaraz staged a remarkable comeback from two sets down to clinch victory against his Italian adversary, with the match concluding at 4-6 6-7 (4) 6-4 7-6 (3) 7-6 (10-2). Despite his monumental win in what has been hailed as an epic showdown, Alcaraz is known for his humble nature when it comes to celebrating his successes.

Before his Parisian victory, the double Wimbledon victor confided to the Tennis Channel about his simple celebratory rituals, which don't include splurging on opulent homes or flashy cars but rather something much more understated.

"Maybe not after every big win, but for example at the Grand Slams, if I reach the semi-finals, I like to buy myself a new pair of sneakers," Alcaraz shared. "If I feel like I had a good season, at the end of the year I'll buy myself a nice watch."

Unlike many of his peers in the sport, Alcaraz leads a relatively modest lifestyle. Despite this, he can add the £2.1m bonus he earned in Paris to his total net worth of £29.5m, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

He was also the highest-earning tennis player of 2024. This is in addition to his brand partnerships with high-profile names such as Louis Vuitton, Rolex, Calvin Klein and BMW, which brought him around £13m in 2023.

Last year, he inked a staggering £160m deal with Nike that extends until mid-next decade. However, another aspect that reveals Alcaraz's strong commitment to living a more low-key life is his choice of residence.

Despite having the means to live anywhere he chooses, Alcaraz reportedly spends much of his time in a small house that is merely half the size of a tennis court.

Residing at the high-performance academy of his coach and former French Open champion, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Alcaraz has made a modest 90-square-metre bungalow in Villena, Alicante, his home.
