The upcoming fiction and thriller drama film ‘ Omniscient Reader: The Prophet ’ has been creating a lot of buzz amongst fans. The star cast, along with the interesting and unique plot, has managed to woo fans all around; however, some controversy has still managed to follow the project. Major changes in the film compared to the webtoon it has been adapted from have concerned fans, especially regarding Blackpink Jisoo ’s character, who, instead of originally wielding a sword, is seen using a gun in the teaser. Her absence from the film’s recent briefing has also sparked concerns amongst fans about the idol’s future.

The venue, as well as the announcement for ticket sales, was also shared online. Fans were originally excited to meet the star cast of the film; however, it was also announced that out of everyone, only Jisoo would be unable to attend the event due to scheduling conflicts.
Many expressed their disappointment over the issue and cited that her company should have planned better in advance to ensure that the idol was able to attend all events like this.
