The WTC Final 2025 between Australia and South Africa is heading towards a thrilling conclusion. The two sides are competing fiercely to emerge victorious. However, before the third day began, all the players and officials of the match stood still to pay respects to the victims of the Air India plane crash that occurred in Ahmedabad on June 12.

Players wore black armbands to pay respects to the 241 individuals who perished. There was a single survivor. The flight was from Ahmedabad to London and crashed mere seconds after take-off, just 40 seconds to be exact. The tragic incident touched hearts across the globe. The WTC Final is taking place in London. Hence, the black bands also paid respect to the city and the victims.
