How to verify your PAN card online

Visit the official Income Tax e-filing portal:

Open your phone or laptop browser and go to Www.Incometax.Gov.In/Iec/Foportal.

Select PAN verification option:

On the portal, look for the option to verify your PAN and click on it.

Enter the required details:

You will be asked to fill in personal details like your full name, date of birth, and phone number.

Verify details via OTP:

An OTP (one-time password) or message will be sent to your registered phone number.

Match the details:

If the details received match the information you entered, then the PAN card is genuine.

If the details do not match, it means that the PAN card is likely to be fake.
