Chikmagaluru: A minor landslide has occurred near the slopes of Mullayanagiri in Chikkamagaluru district, serving as a warning sign of potential danger ahead.

Though rainfall in the region has subsided, nature’s aftereffects continue. A section of land near Kavikal Gandi along the Dattapeetha route has slid onto the road. Fortunately, the landslide was small in scale, and only minor rocks have fallen onto the path. As of now, tourist movement in the area remains unaffected.

However, officials have warned that if rainfall intensifies again, the situation could worsen, potentially leading to larger landslides. Authorities are closely monitoring the area and have advised caution for travelers heading to the region.
