UIDAI e-Aadhaar 2025 Update: Taking an important step towards making Aadhaar services more citizen-friendly and paperless, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is preparing to bring a major update to the e-Aadhaar system by November 2025. After this change, the need for a photocopy of the Aadhaar card will be eliminated, and the process of updating personal information will be made much easier. Speaking to a news organisation, UIDAI CEO Bhuvnesh Kumar said, You will soon be able to do everything from home except giving fingerprints and iris.



The new update of UIDAI e-Aadhaar will be fully implemented in India by the end of 2025. Now, the need for a photocopy of the Aadhaar card will end, and people will be able to share their documents through QR code-based digital e-Aadhaar. Let's know its special features-

Now, the full and masked version of Aadhaar can be shared digitally, with the approval of the user.



Aadhaar will be updated with home-like name, address, date of birth and mobile number.

This system is connecting to databases like CBSE, passport, driving license, and MNREGA.

In collaboration with CBSE and other education boards, UIDAI will run awareness and update campaigns in schools to ensure compliance with the new standards.
