RSSB VDO Recruitment 2025: The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has issued a notification for bumper recruitment for 850 posts of Village Development Officer (VDO). The application process will start from tomorrow i.e. 19th June. This time the maximum age limit has been relaxed by 3 years. Interested candidates can apply online at rssb.rajasthan.gov.in till 11:59 pm on 18th July 2025.



Application fees can also be paid till this date. Candidates are advised to complete the application process in time without waiting for the last date.



The exam will be held on 31st August.



It includes 683 posts of non-scheduled area and 167 posts of scheduled area. Under this recruitment, OMR a written examination will be conducted on 31st August 2025.



Educational Qualification



For Rajasthan Village Development Officer Recruitment 2025, the candidate must graduate from a recognized university. Along with this, the candidate must also have computer qualifications, such as an 'O' Level Certificate conducted by DOEACC, COPA or DPCS Certificate, a Diploma in Computer Science/Application from a recognized institute, or a certificate of RS-CIT conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota. Apart from this, the candidate must be able to work in the Hindi language in Devanagari script and have knowledge of the culture of Rajasthan.



Age Limit

The minimum age of the candidates applying for Rajasthan Village Development Officer (VDO) Recruitment 2025 has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age at 40 years, which will be calculated based on 1 January 2026. The special thing is that candidates of all categories will be given a relaxation of 3 years in the maximum age limit.



Pay Scale

The selected candidates will get attractive salaries under the Seventh Pay Scale as per Pay Matrix Level-6, which will be according to the standards of government service.



Application fee

The application fee for Rajasthan Village Development Officer (VDO) Recruitment 2025 has been fixed according to the category. Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates of the General Category and Creamy Layer Category will have to pay a fee of Rs 600. At the same time, the application fee for candidates of Non-Creamy Layer OBC, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category has been kept at Rs 400. Divyangjan candidates will also have to pay a fee of Rs 400. This fee can be deposited through the e-Mitra kiosk, Jan Suvidha Kendra, Net Banking, Debit Card or Credit Card.
