The emergency services rushed to Halifax overnight after an explosion at a house. The explosion broke out in the Spring Hall Lane area at around 11.45pm on Wednesday and impacted six houses.
A spokesperson for Northern Gas Networks said: "Our engineers were called to attend an explosion in the Spring Hall Lane area of Halifax at 12.30am this morning. We are working closely with the emergency services to the incident."
According to Yorkshire Live, an air ambulance landed at the Asda car park close to the scene. Three people were taken to hospital.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called at 00.06 this morning to Spring Hall Grove to reports of an explosion. We sent five crews, plus the technical rescue and command unit.
"The explosion had affected 6 houses. Crews used large jets and an aerial ladder to extinguish the fire.
"Three people were taken to hospital. YAS and WYP also in attendance."
