These recruitments will be done in medical colleges and hospitals under the Health Department of Bihar. These vacancies have come out for recruitment in a total of 25 departments, in which the maximum number of vacancies are 125 in the Department of Anesthesiologist, 120-120 vacancies in the Department of Medicine and Gynecology and Obstetrics, and 106 vacancies in the Department of Pediatrics.



BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria: What are the eligibility criteria?



Educational Qualification: The applying candidate should have an MD/MS/MDS/DNB degree in the relevant field. Apart from this, he must also have 3 years of experience as a senior resident or teacher in a medical college.



Age Limit: The maximum age of the candidates of unreserved category is 45 years, 48 ​​years for women of unreserved category, 48 years for backward class/extremely backward class (both women and men), 50 years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe category (both women and men) and the maximum age limit for doctors working in Bihar State Health Services Department is 50 years.



BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025 Selection Process: What is the selection process?

The selection process for this recruitment does not include a written examination but the candidates will be selected through a merit list based on their educational qualification marks and marks obtained in the interview. In this, merit will be made based on a maximum of 10 marks for work experience in the government sector and a maximum of 6 marks in the interview.
