State Bank of India (SBI) has invited applications for the post of Probationary Officer (PO). The application process for this has started. Candidates can apply till July 7 by visiting SBI's official website sbi.co.in. Candidates applying for these posts should keep in mind that they have to apply in online mode only. SBI has invited applications for recruitment to a total of 541 PO posts. Of the total posts, there are 80 posts for the SC category, 73 for ST, 135 for OBC, 50 for EWS, and 203 for General. The application process starts on June 24. Candidates can apply on or before the last date prescribed.



SBI PO VS IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria: Who can apply for Bank PO posts?



Candidates applying for SBI and IBPS PO posts should have a graduation degree in any stream from any recognized university. For IBPS PO, the age should be between 20 to 30 years. Whereas for SBI PO, the age of the candidate should be between 21 years to 30 years. In the recruitment of both, the reserved category is also given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the government rules.



SBI PO VS IBPS PO Selection Process: How is the selection done for PO posts?



Applicants for SBI and IBPS PO posts are selected through preliminary examination, main examination interview, etc. Candidates successful in the preliminary examination appear in the main exam. At the same time, candidates passing the main examination appear in the interview process for further selection process.



SBI PO VS IBPS PO Salary: Who gets more salary?



The candidate selected for the post of PO in SBI gets an initial basic salary of about Rs 48,480 per month. Along with this, all types of allowances including inflation are also given. The salary of IBPS PO is Rs 78,058 per month, which includes basic salary, dearness allowance (DA), house rent allowance (HRA), and other allowances. After deduction, you will get a salary of about Rs 71,863 per month, in which the basic salary is Rs 48,480.



SBI PO VS IBPS PO Difference: What is the difference between the two?



The main difference between SBI PO and IBPS PO is that SBI PO recruits only for State Bank of India, while IBPS PO recruits for various other public sector banks. SBI recruits for fewer posts of PO, while IBPS recruits for more posts of PO.
