There is good news for the candidates who are preparing for a government job after passing the 12th. Bihar Public Service Commission has issued a notification for recruitment to the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC). For this, interested candidates can apply online from July 8 by visiting the official website of BPSC bpsc.bihar.gov.in. The last date to apply is 29 July. The commission has invited applications for recruitment to a total of 26 posts of LDC. Candidates can apply on or before the prescribed last date. BPSC LDC Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Who can apply
Educational Qualification: The applying candidate must have passed the 12th from any recognized board. Also, the applicants should know about computers and typing skills.


Age Limit: The age of the candidates should be between 18 and 37 years. However, candidates of the reserved category have also been given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules of the government.


BPSC LDC Vacancy 2025 Application Fee: What is the application fee?


General category candidates will have to pay Rs 600 as application fee, while Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates of Bihar state will have to pay Rs 150. Apart from this, permanent female candidates and disabled candidates of Bihar state will also have to pay Rs 150 as an application fee.


BPSC LDC Recruitment 2025 Selection Process: What is the selection process?


BPSC has stated in its notification that if fewer than 40 thousand applications are received for this recruitment, then the preliminary examination will not be conducted. On receipt of more than 40 thousand applications, the examinations will be conducted in two phases, in which the first phase will have a preliminary examination and the second phase will have a main examination. Both preliminary and main examinations will be objective and multiple-choice. In the preliminary examination, one paper will be of general knowledge, in which questions will be asked from subjects like General Studies (50 questions), General Science and Mathematics (50 questions), and Reasoning / Mental Ability (50 questions).
