sperm

story of sperm donor: The 2012 film 'Vicky Donor' in India brought the sperm donation into the discussion. But despite this, many kinds of misunderstandings and social tabu are still in the society regarding this subject in the country.

On the other hand, in countries like America and Europe, it is considered a respectable and good income profession. Recently, a person shared his experiences on social media, which shows how much there is a difference between sperm donation in India and abroad.

Sperm donation earnings in India

Most of the people in India still look at sperm donation wrongly. Despite this, there are some registered sperm banks and fertility clinics in the country that pay the donors. Usually 500 to 2000 rupees are available for a donation in India. If a donor donates twice a week, it can earn from about 4000 to 8000 rupees a month.

In big cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, where there is more demand, donor can be earned from Rs 8000 to 15000 per month. If the educational qualification of the donor is good (eg MBBS or engineering) or some of its special physical properties (such as blonde color, blue eyes, tall height) can increase both its demand and rate. However, this profession is much higher than India than India.

Sperm donation abroad: a profession

In countries like America, Europe and Australia, sperm donation is considered a respectable profession. The CATIAL Sperm Bank (USA) gets $ 100 (about ₹ 8400) on a donation and can earn up to ₹ 1.26 lakhs in a month. This amount is up to $ 150 (₹ 12,600) in California Sperm Bank. A donation in European Sperm Bank gives € 40 (₹ 3600) and can be donated four times a month. At the same time, big sperm banks like Cryos International also pays bonus and additional payment, due to which it is possible to earn up to ₹ 8.4 lakh in six months. Donors abroad also provide facilities like free health checkup, fertility test and annual physical exam.

Disclosure of a donor

Recently, a person told on social media that he is a biological father of thousands of children worldwide. He has been donating for many years and earns an additional ₹ 2.5 lakh from it every month. He also told that children who were born from his donation can contact him after the age of 18, but they have no right to get information about them.
