New Delhi: To mark the 40th birthday of actor Ranveer Singh, the first look of his upcoming film Dhurandhar was released today. While the action-packed first look was a delight to most fans, many saw a special detail in the teaser which has had fans in a frenzy online. Actor Sara Arjun, a child actor with quite an impressive resume, was also seen in the clip. Many now presume she would be playing the female lead against Ranveer in the movie.

Sara’s return in Dhurandhar

The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan. Set to release on 5th December 2025 globally, the film is directed by Aditya Dhar of Uri: The Surgical Strike fame. The music of the film is composed by Shashwat, with vocals by Jasmine Sandlas and a special collaboration by Hanumankind.

Sara Arjun is the daughter of actor Raj Arjun and was born in 2005. A prodigious acting talent, Sara was just over 1 year old when she appeared in her first commercial. This casting was reportedly a stroke of luck as she was spotted at a mall by a casting agent while she was out with her parents.

Then she appeared in Deiva Thirumagal, the 2011 Tamil film in which she played the actor Vikram’s daughter. This was followed by Ek Thi Daayan, Saivam and Saand Ki Aankh. It was in Mani Ratnam’s two-part period epic, Ponniyin Selvan, where she played the role of young Nandini, the character played by Aishwarya Rai, that she became more widely known.

It was reported by Siasat and Gulte in 2023 that Sara’s net worth in 2022, was around Rs 10 crore, making her the richest child actor in India at that time. Fans are now eagerly awaiting to see how she would fare against Ranveer Kapoor in the upcoming film.
