A shocking case has emerged from Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, where a young man has accused his best friend of forcibly changing his gender through occult practices and subjecting him to repeated abuse. The accused, identified as Shubham Yadav, is yet to be arrested.
The victim has filed a detailed complaint at a police station in Bhopal, alleging that Shubham, a resident of Gwaltoli (Narmadapuram), used black magic and intoxicants to alter his gender identity against his will. The complaint further states that Shubham kept him confined at knifepoint for 18 days and sexually assaulted him multiple times, including in a hotel in Narmadapuram.
New Identity and Threats
The victim claimed that Shubham forced him to adopt a new female identity named “Twinkle,” even going as far as getting a fake ID and medical certificate prepared in the new name to erase his original identity. He was allegedly threatened with public defamation if he ever spoke out.
According to the victim, he was taken to Indore where a forced gender reassignment surgery was conducted. After the incident, he became reclusive and stayed indoors for over six months, traumatized by the threats and constant fear.
Complaint Transferred for Investigation
The victim said Shubham instructed him to lie to everyone by claiming he had been in an accident. His family remained unaware of the ordeal throughout. Bhopal Police initially registered the case under zero FIR and transferred the investigation to the Narmadapuram police, where a formal case has now been lodged and investigations are underway.
