Daulal Vaishnav had these diseases

Doctors at AIIMS Jodhpur told the media that Daulat Vaishnav was suffering from serious lung diseases like Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Pulmonary Fibrosis for several months. His lungs were severely damaged, due to which the oxygen level was constantly decreasing. He was given many advanced medicines including oxygen therapy, steroids, but the condition did not improve.

How dangerous are these diseases?

COPD is a dangerous lung disease in which the airways get obstructed and breathing becomes difficult. Pulmonary fibrosis is a condition in which the lung tissues become hard and scarred, making it difficult for oxygen to be absorbed in the blood. Both diseases are serious in themselves. When these occur together, the patient's condition becomes very serious.

Pneumonia worsened his health

Let us tell you that Daulal Vaishnav had also recently suffered from pneumonia, due to which his condition worsened. Actually, pneumonia put extra pressure on his lungs, which further reduced his breathing capacity. AIIMS doctors said that Daulal Vaishnav's condition was very serious for the last few days. His condition worsened on Monday, after which he was put on a ventilator. He was looked after 24 hours, but due to the severity of the diseases and his age, he could not be saved.

What does WHO say on COPD?

Serious lung diseases such as COPD and pulmonary fibrosis are among the leading causes of death at the global level. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), COPD is the third biggest cause of death worldwide. The risk of this disease increases due to air pollution, dust and smoking etc. At the same time, pulmonary fibrosis disease is not common, but its exact treatment is not available at present. This disease gradually destroys the patient's ability to breathe. At the same time, in the last stage, the patient becomes completely dependent on oxygen.
