One of Princess Kate's most trusted employees has quit her job after 15 years. Natasha Archer, who has proved invaluable to the royal's top team, is leaving Kensington Palace to set up her own private consultancy. She has been incredibly loyal to Kate over the years and has helped to shape her iconic royal style.

Ms Archer started working for Kate in 2020, when she joined as a PA to the Princess and her husband, Prince William. In the subsequent years, Tash, as she is known to her friends, became an integral part of Kate's inner circle. The 37-year-old is Kate's unofficial stylist and recently became the senior private executive assistant to the Prince and Princess.

Ms Archer is said to be leaving on good terms, with the royal household wishing her the "very best" in her new venture, People magazine reports.

When Kate was discharged from The London Clinic following her major abdominal surgery last January, Tash was seen driving away from the hospital a short time after the princess left. On the front seat next to her were some gifts and flowers.

The two women have grown close over the years, with Tash accompanying Kate on her travels around the world.

She's also been there for private moments, including arriving at the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital with an outfit and a baby seat shortly before the birth of Prince George in 2013.

In 2019, Tash was honoured with the Royal Victorian Order for her dedicated service to the royal household.
