Delhi government kept in mind the convenience and safety of women ‘Friend Smart CardA digital travel pass called ‘has been launched. This card will allow women and transgender individuals to travel at DTC and cluster buses without any charges. This new card National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) The system has been brought under the system, which will replace the pink paper ticket being used so far.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said during the budget speech, “There was a possibility of corruption in the old ticket system, but now the journey through Saheli smart card will be more transparent and safe.” There are currently 44 DTC depots (one in Noida) in Delhi and a total of 3,266 buses are running, including 1,950 electric and 1,694 CNG buses. The government is preparing to implement this scheme from August 15.

Once the KYC process is completed, the bank will send the card to the applicant’s address via post. The government has decided not to issue cards by DTC with the aim of keeping this process completely digital and corruption-free.
