Tata ev battery warranty: Tata Motors has announced a lifetime battery warranty on its two most popular electric vehicles: Curve EV and Nexon EV45 KWH. This warranty extends unlimited kilometers and is valid for 15 years from the date of registration. Significantly, this offer is available not only for new buyers, but also for the current customers who buy private vehicles for the first time of these models.

The move is expected to reduce the biggest concern of electric vehicles, the longevity of the battery and the replacement cost, which often prevents potential electric vehicle buyers from decision making decisions.
In addition to the declaration of warranty, Tata Motors has also launched a loyalty program for its current Tata.Ev customers. Under this initiative, existing owners will get a profit of Rs 50,000 for buying one of Curvv.Ev or Nexon.ev 45 kwh. The new life battery warranty was first launched with the recently launched Harrier EV.
Tata Curve EV is available in two battery options: 45 kwh and 55 kwh, whose range is said to be 502 km and 585 km respectively. In real circumstances, they are expected to cover a distance of about 350 km and 425 km. Both variants have the same PMSM motor that produces 167 HP.
On the other hand, Nexon EV Fearless 45 has a 45 kwh battery, which is stated to be 489 km. It has an electric motor that generates 145 HP and 215 Nm of torque.
