Good news students from Haridwar District, Uttarakhand. Keeping in mind the shravan kanwar yatra in 2025, all educational institutions in the district will be closed for 10 days from July 14 to July 23. District Magistrate Mayur Dixit has also issued an order in this regard.

As per the order, the nikasi of Kanwariyas and the traffic has both put huge burden on the general public. For the saftey of the children as well as the general public and the students, the order was necessary for public good. This holiday isfor all educational institutions in Haridwar district. During this period, all government and private schools till grade 12, degree colleges and universities, polytechnic and technical colleges and all Anganwadi centers will be closed.

– 15 August 2025 (Friday): Independence Day as well as Chehalum
– 16 August 2025 (Saturday): Shri Krishna Janmashtami

– 26 August 2025: Harialika Teej Vrat
– 31 August – Sunday
