TN TRB Recruitment 2025: Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has announced recruitment for teaching posts in various subjects and departments. The online registration process has started from July 10, and the last date to apply is August 12, 2025. The application correction window will be active between August 13 and 16. This recruitment drive includes 80 backlog posts and 1,916 existing posts of Postgraduate Assistants, Physical Director Grade I, and Computer Instructor Grade I. Thus, a total of 1,996 posts will be recruited.

TN TRB Recruitment Eligibility: Eligibility Criteria

For Postgraduate Assistants (Academic and Language Subjects): Postgraduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant subject and B.Ed. Degree.

For Computer Instructor Grade I: Same qualification as Postgraduate Assistants.

For Physical Director Grade I: B.P.Ed. or M.P.Ed. with minimum 50% marks (minimum two years duration)

The age of the General category candidates applying is up to 53 years, and for SC/ST/BC/BCM/OBC/PWD/Destitute Widow candidates, up to 58 years. Age will be calculated as of July 1, 2025.

The general category candidates applying have to pay an application fee of Rs 600, and SC/SCA/ST/PWD candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 300.

TN TRB Selection Process: Selection Process

1. Tamil Language Eligibility Test

Duration: 30 minutes

Total Marks: 50 (30 questions)

Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40%

Only qualifying candidates can appear in the main exam.

2. Main Written Exam (OMR-based)

Duration: 3 hours

Total Questions: 150 (150 marks)
