For EVs the next big step is affordability and the Vida VX2 comes with a very competitive pricing structure especially with Baas but have corners been cut elsewhere? Let's have a look. With Baas the pricing is only Rs 44,990 for the Go and the Plus is Rs 57,990 (introductory) which looks much less when looked at the Rs 84,990 (for Go) price for buying outright.

Without the battery, there are seperate finance schemes with different durations with a different monthly running. Three are three plans based on 2,3 and 5 years with different km limits and costs along with a extra cost per km if you use it more. Hero Fincorp and Vidyuttech are the financiers while the battery is linked to the ownership of the scooter. Once the plan is complete, youll get full ownership of the scooter and batteries. The VX2 comes with 3 or 5 year plan while the top-end VX2 Plus has 2/3/5 years.

We suggest the VX2 Plus variant makes more sense which supports fast charging and offers a range of 142km while the Go has a less range of 92km with a 2.2kwh vs 3.2kwh in Plus.

The features list includes a 4.3 inch display with turn by turn navigation and more. There are 3 riding modes too.

While the Baas might seem slightly expensive in the long run, it reduces the initial buy amount and the Baas scheme also comes with three years assured buyback and free fast charging and an extended 5 year warranty too.

We think this is a good value for money scooter especially with the price and the Baas scheme makes sense if your usage is less.
