Chennai Super Kings have retained a total of 18 players for IPL 2026. In batting, the team has kept Ruturaj Gaikwad captain and has also included young Ayush Mhatre, Dewald Brevis, Andre Siddharth and Sheikh Rashid in the squad.

The responsibility of wicketkeeping will once again be on the shoulders of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, with which Urvil Patel and Yuva Dynasty Bedi have also been retained. In the all -rounder category, CSK has retained trusted names like Ravindra Jadeja, Rachin Ravindra, Sam Karan and Shivam Dubey.

At the same time, the bowling unit also retain Mathisha Pathirana, Noor Ahmed, Nathan Ellis, Anshul Kamboj, Khalil Ahmed and Ramakrishna Ghosh. Some of these players like Andre Siddharth, Vansh Bedi and Ramakrishna Ghosh have not yet made their debut.

In this process of change, CSK has decided to release many experienced but unsuccessful players. Experienced Indian players like Rahul Tripathi, Deepak Hooda, Vijay Shankar and Ravichandran Ashwin have been shown the way out.

Names like Devone Conway and Jamie Overton were also not retained among foreign players. Apart from these, players like Shres Gopal, Kamlesh Nagerkoti, Gurjapneet Singh and Mukesh Chaudhary have also been eliminated from CSK’s plan.
