After five Supersonic sold-out shows at Heaton Park and two more dates in Cardiff, Oasis are heading south to bring the Live 25 tour to Wembley Stadium.

Liam and Noel Gallagher will take to the stage tonight after performances from support acts Cast and Richard Ashcroft.

After tickets for Oasis' initial five nights at the London venue were snapped up by fans, the band later announcedtwo more dates in the capital at the end of September to meet demand.

The band last played at Wembley Stadium on July 12, 2009, as part of their "Dig Out Your Soul" tour - it became one of their final performances before they split in Paris later on in the year.

The band have a varied history with the venue, with Noel previously describing a 2000 gig as one of their 'worst ever.' “That was the low point in Oasis,” he said. “It was a horrible two-and-a-half hour on stage. Liam can hang his head in shame. It was dreadful”.

So the band will be pulling out all the stops to make sure the next five nights are ones to remember for all the right reasons.

Discounted rail fare

In a nod to the band’s eight UK number ones, Heathrow Express is offering 8% off all tickets from 25th July - 3rd August 2025

With just days to go until one of the biggest reunions in British music history, Heathrow Express - the non-stop, 15-minute service from London Paddington to Heathrow Central1 - is cutting fares to mark the return of Oasis at Wembley Stadium.

More than 90,000 fans are expected on Friday 25th July, with many flying in from around the world. To support the surge of travellers, Heathrow Express is offering 8% off full fare tickets from 25th July to 3rd August.

The move comes as resale ticket prices top £200 and hotel rates across London continue to rise ahead of what’s being dubbed Britpop’s resurrection.

The 8% discount - a tribute to the band’s eight UK number-one singles - applies to both Express Class and Business First fares. It’s available when booking online or via the Heathrow Express app with the code OASIS82. The discount also extends to additional passengers booked on the same journey.

Key info:

  • 8% off full-fare Express Class and Business First tickets

  • Offer available online or via the app with promo code OASIS82

  • Discount applies to group bookings on the same service

  • Kids under 15 still travel free with a paying adult

  • Non-stop, 15-minute journey includes free Wi-Fi and extra luggage space

Aoife Considine, Business Lead at Heathrow Express, said: “We know this is more than just a gig - it’s a major moment for thousands of fans around the world. People are travelling hundreds of miles, often at great personal cost, to be part of it. We wanted to do something practical to support them. Whether you’re flying in from Manchester, Madrid or Melbourne, your journey into London should be as easy and affordable as possible - it should start on the right note.”

Warning in place

Non ticket-holders looking for a Gallagher-Hill style listening party outside Wembley Stadium are out of luck. The venue will not allow anyone without a lucky ticket to hang around outside hoping to catch the Gallaghers in action.

Security have confirmed they will be moving people along and no standing will be permitted on the Olympic Steps or by the stadium entrances.

Since the tour started, searches for Oasis Wembley tickets have surged more than 5000% as fear of missing out has begun to kick in for ticketless fans. The decision follows crackdowns during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour last year, where Tay-gating - fans gathering to sing and dance outside venues - prompted venues to tighten the rules.

A spokesperson for Wembley Stadium said: "To support with the safe entry and exit of everyone within the stadium, no one is allowed to stand outside any entrance or on the Olympic Steps at the front of the stadium. Non ticket holders will be moved on.”

Bag policy

You cannot take any bag larger than an A4 piece of paper (H 297mm, W 210mm and D 210mm) into Wembley Stadium, so check the dimensions of your bag before you leave the house.

Any matchday merchandise you buy will be supplied in a clear plastic bag, and will be allowed into the stadium as well.
