SSC Exam Date 2025: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the official dates of Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Exam 2025 and Combined Hindi Translator Exam 2025 (Paper-1). All the candidates can check or download detailed information and notice related to the exam by visiting the official website of the Staff Selection Commission ssc.gov.in.



Combined Hindi Translator Exam on 12th August



According to the schedule released by the Commission, the Stenographer exam will be conducted on 6th, 7th, and 8th August 2025. At the same time, the Combined Hindi Translator Exam 2025 (Paper-I) will be conducted on 12th August 2025.

How many posts are being recruited?

A total of 261 posts will be recruited by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) under the Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Exam 2025. In this recruitment process, different times have been fixed for transcription, in which 50 minutes will be given for Group D in English and 65 minutes in Hindi, while for Group C, 40 minutes in English and 55 minutes in Hindi have been kept.



At the same time, a total of 437 posts will be recruited under the Combined Hindi Translator Exam 2025. This recruitment includes appointments to various important posts, including Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Junior Translation Officer (JTO), Senior Translator, and Sub-Inspector as Hindi Translator in Central Forces.



SSC Stenographer 2025 Exam Pattern: Exam Pattern

The computer-based exam will have a total of 200 multiple-choice questions covering three main subjects: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language and Comprehension. 1 mark will be given for the correct answer, and a negative marking of 0.25 marks will be given for each wrong answer. The duration of the exam will be two hours, and it will be in both Hindi and English.



SSC JHT 2025 Exam Pattern: Exam Pattern

SSC JHT Paper 1 will be of multiple-choice questions, in which 100 100 questions will be asked from General English and General Hindi. The selected candidates will then be called for Paper 2, which will be of descriptive type and the paper will assess the translation and essay writing skills of the candidate in both Hindi and English.
