Dubai... a city which is not only known for its shining buildings and luxurious lifestyle, but is also known as a big employment opportunity for Indian workers. Every year millions of Indians go to Dubai with dreams of better earnings. But the real question is - how much do they earn after going there, how much do they spend and how much do they save in the end?

How much is the income?

The earnings of Indian workers in Dubai vary according to their job and skill. Generally, if you are a low skilled worker, such as a driver, cleaner, helper or construction worker, then your salary can be between 800 to 1200 dirhams. On the other hand, skilled workers like electrician, plumber or machine operator can get 1500 to 2500 dirhams. If we talk in rupees, then the value of one dirham is about 22 to 23 rupees. That is, a laborer can get a monthly salary of about 20,000 to 60,000.

What is the cost?

Along with earning, living in Dubai is also not cheap. Although companies often provide accommodation and transportation facilities to workers, but still there is expenditure on food and other needs. Generally, a worker has to spend 400 to 600 dirhams in a month. This includes food, mobile recharge, clothes and small things.

How much is the saving?

If a worker is earning around 1500 dirhams every month and spending 500 dirhams out of it, then he can easily save up to 1000 dirhams i.e. around 22,000. Some workers also work overtime by working in more shifts, which increases both their earnings and savings.

Send money to family

Most Indian workers send money to their families every month. Sending money from Dubai to India is easy and cheap. This is the reason why Indians working in Dubai are playing a big role in improving the economic condition of their villages.
