There are two serious diseases associated with the lungs, lung cancer and TB i.e. tuberculosis. TB is an infectious disease caused by bacteria called mycobacterium tuberculosis. This especially affects those whose immunity is weak. Lungs cancer is a type of cancer in which lung cells start growing abnormal and take the form of tumors. The main reason for this can be smoking, air pollution and genetic factor. Although both diseases affect the lungs, their causes, symptoms and treatment process are different. Both can prove fatal in case of investigation and treatment at the right time.

Both TB and Langs cancer severely affect the functioning of the lungs. TB can cause lung infections, lumps or cavities, which makes it difficult to breathe and lack oxygen in the body. This infection can also spread to other parts of the body through blood and lymphatic systems. At the same time, cancer cells gradually destroy healthy cells of the lungs in langs cancer. This causes problems like cough, chest pain, fatigue, weight phenomenon and shortness of breath. If the cancer spreads, it can also affect other organs like brain, bone and liver. In both situations, the lifestyle of the person has a profound effect.

What is the difference between symptoms of lung cancer and TB?

Apart from this, signs like heaviness in the voice, frequent respiratory infections and bone pain can also be seen. TB is an infection and its treatment is possible with antibiotics, while processes such as chemotherapy, radiation and surgery are adopted in langs cancer. Therefore, only after the correct investigation, it can be decided which disease the patient has.

How to rescue?

Avoid smoking and do not consume tobacco.

Get health check-up from time to time, especially if there is a continuous cough.

Get BCG vaccination done to prevent TB.

Keep distance from an infected person and wear masks.

Take nutritious diet and keep immunity strong.

Stay in ventilation places, so that pure air continues.
