New Delhi: On August 1, one of the most prestigious awards of India was announced by the National Awards. The Jury of the National Awards submitted a report to this to Minister of Information and Broadcasting Department Ashwini Vaishnav and Minister of State Dr. L. Murugan. After this, the jury announced the winners in the press conference held for the media at 6 pm. While Rani Mukherjee received the Best Actress Award at the National Award, Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey won the National Award for Best Actor. Apart from this, the film ’12th Fail’ received the Best Feature Film Award.

The names of Rani Mukherjee and Vikrant Massey were leading for the best actress and actor. However, in the middle, Shah Rukh Khan gave the big surprise fans. He has received the National Award for Best Actor for his film ‘Jawan’. This is the first National Award for Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Vikrant Masi. Apart from the three actors, Sanya Malhotra’s film ‘Jackfall’ received the Best Hindi film Award. Ranbir Kapoor starrer director Sandeep Reddy Wanga’s film ‘Animal’ won the awards in the category of sound design and background score. Apart from this, director Sudipto Sen won the Best Direction Award for Ada Sharma’s film ‘The Keral Story’. Vicky Kaushal starrer film ‘Sam Bahadur’ received the Best Makeup and Costume Award.
