Ather Energy Rizta Electric Scooter India: Amidst increasing demand for electric vehicles in the country, Indians Ev Brand Ather Energy Has achieved a historical achievement. The company has set a record of selling a total of 4,02,207 units of electric scooters by the end of July 2025. In the first 7 months of 2025, the tremendous sales of Ather has played a big role in making this record. Ather launched its first scooter in the year 2018 and now it is counted among the country’s major EV brands.

RIZTA increased the speed of the company

The Ather currently sells four electric scooter models in India: Ather Rizta, Ather 450X, Ather 450S and Ather 450 APEX. Of these, the Ather Rizta has become the cheapest and best selling model of the company. Its initial price is ₹ 1 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Ather APEX is the most expensive scooter priced at ₹ 1.90 lakh.

In 13 months, the result touched 1 lakh units figure

Since the launch of Ather Rizta in April 2024, the scooter has crossed the wholesale sale figure of 1 lakh units in just 13 months. Its contribution to the company’s monthly sales is more than 60%. Three variants of RIZTA are available –

  • Rizta s: ₹ 99,999
  • Rizta z 2.9: ₹ 1,14,500
  • Rizta Z 3.7: ₹ 1,42,000

Their IDC range ranks from 123 to 159 km, which makes it a great option for urban transport.

S variants extended the scope of Rizta

On July 1, 2025, Ather launched the Rizta S 3.7kwh variant, which has an ex-showroom price in Delhi ₹ 1,37,047. This scooter provides an IDC range of 159 km and has advanced security, comfort and connectivity facilities. This variant can also be charged from the fast Ather Grid network of the Ather, which now has access to more than 3,900 places across the country.
